Weekly digest: Open Science Monitoring, VeriXiv and open federal research

Sophie Nobes

This week, we signpost a consultation on the UNESCO draft Principles of Open Science Monitoring, and we highlight an upcoming webinar on new preprint platform VeriXiv. We read a report on models for financing OA publication of federally funded research, and we explore data from cOAlition S’s Transformative Journal programme. Finally, we read about how aspiring authors can navigate the ‘publish or perish’ culture while following open science principles.
